The fight against Gender Based Violence and Rape is a mammoth task that needs all hands-on deck for it to be dealt with effectively. While most people may feel they do not have what it takes to change the mindset of the perpetrators, there are several other ways you can support the millions of victims dealing with trauma across the nation.
By partnering with iThemba Rape and Support you get the opportunity to empower the lives of the victims and positively impact the lives of community members at individual, group and community level.
There are many ways you can get involved:
As a non-profit organisation, iThemba depends on funding from government and the communities at large to operate. These funds go towards the running of our VEC centres and paying the salaries of our dedicated staff. By pledging your support – either in the form of a once-off payment or a monthly contribution we can continue to positively impact communities and serve the victims at the point of their need.
